The man we all descend from. I’ve often wondered about his
unusual name and where it came from.
Looking up the meaning of Ziba tells me it
is a Biblical name and the meaning is Army, fight and strength.
The name Ziba has been passed down through the Hardee family
for many generations. Sometimes as a first name and sometimes as a middle name.
I list 10 Hardee’s with either the first or middle name of Ziba in my genealogy
program.
The latest Ziba Hardee is five years old and is John Ziba Hardee’s
6th Great Grandson.
I think the original Ziba would be proud to know his name
has been passed down through the generations.
